well I have only had this heli 3 days now and crashed pretty hard into a steel ring on a plant pot and broke the blance bar in half,,so I took a blance bar for a blade mcx they are about the same just the blade's bar is just a hair shorter,,had to file the little ball on the blade where the turn buckle snaps on the rotor blade,, the ball on the Xieda 9978 was a little larger,,anyway I have flew this girl 6 times and she flys well about the same as my blade and at half the cost and looks like a helicopter not just a rc toy heli,,if your looking for a indoor 4ch to pass time on them rain out days it will do the trick,,(this is my first Xieda brand heli and so far I like it),its easy to work on,when I broke the blance bar it was the first time I flew it,,and when I fixed her I took it apart to look at the inside and looks to be built well,,For $38 from the batterystore here on amazon you can't beat it,,I've seen this heli going for around $60 from other sellers
