Soaring high above the skies of the local toy store, the Helizone helicopter was not content as an average helicopter. It had big dreams: Aspirations of bringing joy to little 10-year-old kids and big 60-year-old kids at heart alike. Deciding that a plastic body frame would be too fragile, this little Helizone revamped to a sturdy metal alloy frame and skids for hard landings. Knowing that all brawn and no brains would not be sufficient, this Helizone upgraded its performance by programming a Gyroscope inside its brain to stabilize its rotors during flights. With a new controlling system, it is now able to fly forward and backwards as well as left, right, up and down with ease. One windy afternoon, a firestorm hit the toy store. The Helizone spiraled into the pit of flames before making a last effort to survive. Other helicopters gave way, and only the brave Helizone managed to survive the scene. Gyro-stablized copter much easier to fly than early designs
Survives multiple crashes, short learning-to-fly time. Much easier to fly and control than previous designs.
Be sure to check the setscrew tightness on the main blade attachment to the driveshaft. After a few weeks, mine loosened up and I had to find all the small parts and reassemble after a crash.
Fun dogfights with friends with other mini copters, and good to entertain cats, pester family members. Not good for carrying beer from fridge to chair. Payload is the 2 gram LiPoly battery, provides a few minutes fly-time. neat feature to charge from USB port or from remote control unit.
