It's winning me over
I initially gave this model a bad review because I was having a lot of trouble obtaining basic parts for it. A major aspect of this hobby is repairing what ye hath broken, so it's important to have reliable sources after a crash.

So far I have had two parts be listed as indefinitely backordered by Horizon, but in both cases they turned up within a few days. I also had a problem with the battery that came with the 450, and they replaced it immediately.

So I'm back in the air and having a great time. It's my first helicopter, and in the period that I was down looking for parts, I bought the Blade MCPX, and I have to say that I recommend starting with the smaller, cheaper heli first, not because it's easier to fly (it definitely isn't), but because it is so durable. ANY crash with the 450 (and there will be many, if you're a noob like me) means crash repairs and extensive adjustment. The MCPX will survive most crashes if it lands on grass, and parts are really...
