Not worth the money.
I purchased this wanting a step up to a "real" helicopter after having a ton of fun with the Syma S107/S107G, looking at other reviews and videos it seemed like it was pretty stable and that with a little practice, I could fly it easily.
How wrong I was.
First and foremost, after opening the package it was pretty poorly made. The motors and CNC machined blade head was very nice, but that was about all that was. The rest of the thing is made of incredibly brittle plastic. There is nothing really holding the battery in place, and the legs of the landing booms are tiny and don't seem very durable at all.
When I first tried to fly it the real big problems with the copter appear. The tail rotor takes a second or two to kick in, and sometimes doesn't kick in properly at all, and the whole helicopter just seems incredibly unstable in flight. Trim didn't actually trim, controls seemed very sluggish and non-responsive. This thing is an absolute nightmare to fly...
