I don't understand most of the negative reviews on this heli. Know that in this hobby you will learn mechanic skills and learning takes practice. A mass produced helicopter is not going to be 100% perfect out of the box. You still need to look it over for safety and to avoid premature damage. Don't be swayed by the (Advanced Pilot) only reviews. This was my first CP heli as a complete newb and it has taught me more than any other heli I own. For example it took me 2 weeks to get mine airborne when I first got it. They don't work the way you think that they do. You will need to read and have some patience, both of these attributes is something you are going to need and fine tune in this hobby anyway. You can fly the mCP X as a new pilot. It will teach you a ton and makes the learning so much fun. I do highly recommend this heli. It is a lot of fun and a great learning tool.
