I've spent the better part of a week trying EVERY brand I could find and fly. I'm shopping for a gift for my 16 y/o Son. This toy is so much fun to fly...read the directions, focus on basics like hovering and setting trim... Then fly. Very intuitive to fly even if you have minimal experience. As with all of these RC helos crashing is inevitable as you learn. Buy a spare parts kit( very inexpensive ) this size seems to be best for indoors. 3.5 channel with gyro is what you want if you want easy flight time. I made the mistake of thinking 4 channel was better/ easier for a beginner but that's not the case. The extra channel controls a servo that enables you to bank left or right from a hover. (not on this 3.5 channel model but NOT NEEDED for new Pilots) A little tricky for new pilots when you are about to fly into something and spaz when attempting an evasive maneuver with a 4 channel helo. 3.5 channel permits up/down, hover, tail swing right and left, forward/R&L, back/R&L,...
